Public Washroom Upgrade

The BSA would like to refurbish its public restrooms that are original to the building, are more than thirty years old, and are neither OSHA compliant nor handicap friendly by:

Replacing the five high flow toilets and one urinal with more water efficient, wall hung, self-flushing, commercial toilets
Repairing the existing drains and retiling the floor to make cleaning easier and more effective
Lowering countertops and widening doorways to accommodate standard mobility devices
Rebuilding bathroom stalls to accommodate disabled patrons with assistive devices
Purchasing and installing new toilet paper dispensers that don’t block stalls and that use standard size tissue
Purchasing and installing two heated hand blowers and two hand sanitizer dispensers to help promote cleanliness and prevent disease contagion

These improvements will enable the BSA to significantly reduce its water consumption, improve overall hygiene and sanitation, and allow our senior and disabled members use our restrooms safely and comfortably.
