Why do you want to serve on the BSA Board of Directors?
To help form a better relationship with the members and board. I have different ideas and listen to everyone. I have worked on different boards.
What do you want to Accomplish?
I want to make the center a pleasant and peaceful place for everyone.
Civic And Volunteer Experience:
- I was the treasurer for the Merritt Area Fire Department Aux.
- Served on the school board for Houghton Lake Community School
- Volunteered for Copper Queen Hospital Aux.
- Volunteered for numerous years at the Bisbee Senior Center
Background Information Relevant to serving on Board
- I served on the Board of the Center and am a former President of the Board
- I am the financial person for my church
- I was elected to the BSA Board in 2024
Example of a new idea to raise money, increase membership or help the center grow
Just greet everyone that comes through our doors. Talk to people about the activities at the center and let them know we would be so happy to see them get involved with the center.
