Community Room Seating
The BSA Community Room uses old, fabric covered chairs that are stained from years of use and nearly impossible to sanitize properly. Many of them are missing end caps and floor caps leaving exposed metal edges that could potentially injure members and guests. These chairs have a maximum capacity of 200 pounds and sometimes buckle at the weight of our larger members. The BSA would like to replace its current seating with 70 new heavy duty, easy to sanitize chairs with a weight capacity of at least 400 pounds This would provide safe seating for all community participants regardless of their size and enable BSA staff and volunteers to sanitize them easily to help prevent contagion from COVID or other diseases.
